Crédit Agricole Assurances is pleased to announce the appointment of François Josse as Head of International Insurance. As such, he will become a member of the Executive Committee.
François began his career as a senior auditor in 1995 and then as a consultant before joining COVEA in 2003, where he held a number of positions in France and abroad, including as Head of Life and P&C operations at MMA in Le Mans. He became Claims Performance Manager at COVEA in 2005, before returning to MMA in 2009, where he was Head of Accounting/Management Control/Actuarial operations. In 2011, François became CEO of COVEA subsidiary Fidelia Assistance. From 2016 to 2018, he was Chief Executive of BPM Vita and BPM Assicurazioni (COVEA) in Milan – two banking/insurance joint-ventures 81%-owned by COVEA and 19%-owned by Banco BPM. Since 2018, François has been Head of International Operations at COVEA, tasked with managing eight foreign subsidiaries in four countries (Italy, Luxembourg, UK and the USA) and overseeing COVEA’s strategic holdings in Spain and Canada.
François is a graduate of Centre des Hautes Etudes d’Assurances in Paris, and holds a Master’s degree in Corporate Finance from KEDGE Business School (Marseille). He also completed a finance and business management course at Universität Regensburg (Germany).
