David Grimal
Head of Actuarial Function - Key actuarial function manager at Crédit Agricole Assurances
David Grimal began his career at Axa in 2001 as a life products actuary, then from 2006 as the technical manager for Life and Reinsurance. In 2009, he joined the risk management department of Macif as a Solvency Expert Actuary to participate in the preparations for the implementation of the Solvency 2 Directive and the establishment of the risk management system. In 2010, he joined Crédit Agricole Assurances as the head of Solvency and Value to ensure the successful implementation of the Solvency 2 Project in terms of calculations. In 2017, he was appointed Director of the actuarial function at Predica. Since 2021, he has been the director of the actuarial function at Crédit Agricole Assurances.
David Grimal is a member of the Institute of Actuaries, holder of a Master in Actuarial Sciences and Risk Management from Paris X Dauphine, a Master in Applied Mathematics from the Institute of Financial Sciences and Insurance in Lyon, and a Bachelor’s degree in Pure Mathematics from Joseph Fourier University in Grenoble.
