Crédit Agricole Assurances via its Predica subsidiary acquires a 4.81% stake in Aéroports de Paris

At the close of the tender bid by the French government and its Strategic Investment Fund, Crédit Agricole Assurances, via its Predica subsidiary, acquired a 4.81% investment in the capital of Aéroports de Paris (ADP). Crédit Agricole Assurances is pleased to have made this investment in a major player in the European and global airport sector, and it looks forward to providing partnership assistance to help ADP in its long-term development. The investment gives Crédit Agricole Assurances a seat on ADP’s Board of Directors. A director will be appointed no later than ADP's Annual General Meeting to approve the financial statements for 2013.

In its drive to diversify its investments, Crédit Agricole Assurances contributed very actively to financing the economy in 2012, investing €10 billion in local authorities, property and loans to mid-sized companies.

This significant new investment fits Crédit Agricole Assurances’ strategy of increasing its exposure to the infrastructure sector.
