You think you are the beneficiary of unclaimed life insurance policies?

Do you believe you are the beneficiary of an unclaimed life insurance policy, capitalisation bonds/bearer bonds or are the owner of forgotten or inactive bank accounts? Caisse des Dépôts allows you to recover what is rightfully yours using the online Ciclade.fr service.

Banks, insurance companies and employee savings bodies that manage your money close accounts that are inactive or go unclaimed for a long period of time (after 10 years of inactivity, or 10 years after the end of an unclaimed life insurance policy or 3 years in case of death of the policyholder, or 10 years after the maturity of the capitalisation/bearer bond). Any sums are then deposited with Caisse des Dépôts.

The latter’s mission is to keep these funds and enable them to be returned to holders, beneficiaries, successors and bearers via the www.ciclade.fr website, also known as the last chance website to recover “forgotten or lost” sums of money!

How to search for and recover forgotten sums of money

You can perform a search on your own behalf, as a beneficiary or successor (for a deceased person), or as a legal representative.

All you need to do is to enter certain information on the search form to get a response in real time. If a match is found, you’ll be invited to create a secure personal account, in order to download your supporting documents and complete the recovery procedure.

News

The procedure to recover capitalisation/bearer bonds can now be completed online on Ciclade.fr. You must first be in possession of any certificates of authenticity (containing the capitalisation/bearer bond reference numbers) issued by the insurance bodies in question. These reference numbers are vital to start your search on Ciclade.fr.
