The opening of this Claims Management Unit (UGS) in the Greater Caen area has enabled the creation of nearly 30 jobs, with a target of 70 employees to come over the next 3 years. It now offers Crédit Agricole and LCL legal protection policyholders the benefits of local service and greater responsiveness in the management of their claims.

Daniel Epron, Chairman of Crédit Agricole Normandie declared: “I am delighted and honoured to be inaugurating this 19th Claims Management Unit. As an integral part of the Crédit Agricole Group and based in a decentralised regional location, this unit combines the power of an international group with the benefits of proximity. The 30 or so employees recruited and the prospect of 70 jobs to come in the longer term will enhance the attractiveness of our employment area while contributing to the economic dynamism of the Caen conurbation and, more broadly, the entire region.”

Pascal Delheure, Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole Normandie, announced: “I am particularly proud and happy to be inaugurating this new unit today. More than ever, Crédit Agricole has proved its utility and legitimacy as a mutualist bank insurer during the COVID-19 crisis. The establishment of this Pacifica Claims Management Unit in Caen demonstrates, if proof were needed, the dynamism of our Regional Bank in insurance and protection."

Thierry Langreney, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole Assurances and Chief Executive Officer of Pacifica concluded by stating: “In this unprecedented situation, we are very proud to be inaugurating this new centre today, which consolidates our regional presence alongside the Regional Banks. The first thirty jobs created illustrate our mobilisation, our proximity and our unwavering commitment to supporting the economy and assisting our customers with the management of their claims. Our teams remain mobilised and available, whatever the context, in support of our policyholders.”
