Crédit Agricole Assurances announces its membership in the Finance for Biodiversity Foundation (FfB) and the signing of the Finance for Biodiversity Pledge. This initiative marks a major new step in integrating climate and biodiversity issues at the heart of its investment strategy and risk management approach.
A concrete commitment to biodiversity
The Finance for Biodiversity Foundation is a global organization that encourages financial institutions to take concrete action in favor of biodiversity. Its work is based on five key pillars: collaborating and sharing knowledge, engaging in dialogue with companies, assessing the impact of investments, setting measurable objectives, and publicly reporting on actions taken.
By joining this initiative, which brings together more than 200 stakeholders, Crédit Agricole Assurances commits to participating in the collective work carried out by the foundation’s members.

Biodiversity: a major environmental and economic issue
The loss of biodiversity is not limited to an environmental concern—it represents a significant economic risk factor. According to the World Economic Forum, nearly 50% of global GDP is directly or indirectly dependent on nature.
For Crédit Agricole Assurances, this membership reinforces its commitment to biodiversity, in line with its participation in the national initiative “Fonds Objectif Biodiversité”, launched in 2024 with major French institutional investors.
