Dear Customer,
On 13 April 2024, we were made aware of a cybersecurity incident potentially threatening the security of personal data about our customers in Italy. This incident occurred with our Italian document management provider in charge of digitalising customers’ requests and has no impact on Credit Agricole’s insurance information system.
Immediate mitigation steps were taken by CACI to limit the effects of the attack. This included:
Our Italian Partner’s systems were taken offline and isolated;
CACI stopped data exchanges;
CACI deployed its cyber risk experts to analyse this potential data breach.
Business continuity is guaranteed
We are working to establish the origin, nature and scope of this incident. We are also working closely with the data protection and insurance regulatory authorities in Italy and Ireland to limit the impact of this incident on all our consumers.
We appreciate that this causes concern. Your privacy remains our utmost priority. We would encourage you to remain vigilant.
