Appointments Jean-Luc François, Guillaume Oreckin and Eric Féron

Jean-Luc François started his career in 1989 in Japan with the Corporate Finance and Strategy department of the French chemical and pharmaceutical group Rhône-Poulenc. In 1991 he moved to Roussel Uclaf, (member of the pharmaceutical group Aventis) where he held several functions (economics analyst, management controller and then assistant to the CEO). In 1996 he joined the global management consulting firm, Mc Kinsey & Co, where he became an associate in 2003. Then in 2006 he joined Aviva France as Management Board member in charge of finance and was then appointed deputy CEO in 2008. In 2011, Jean-Luc François joined Crédit Agricole Assurances as Head of International Insurance.

Jean-Luc François, aged 51, is a graduate of HEC and holds an MBA in Finance and Corporate Strategy from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Guillaume Oreckin started his career in 1990 in the Sema Group's insurance department. In 1992, he joined management consulting firm KPMG Peat Marwick (taken over by the CSC group in 1998) and helped to set up the insurance division. Made partner in 1999 and then a member of CSC France's operations committee in 2006, he headed the firm's insurance consulting business. Guillaume Oreckin joined the Crédit Agricole group in 2007 as deputy chief executive officer of Pacifica, first in charge of operations and then, from 2013, in charge of development.

Guillaume Oreckin, 53, is a graduate of the HEC business school.

Eric Férons professional career began in 1993 with CISI, the IT subsidiary of CEA-Industrie. In 1994 he joined the AXA group’s information systems department France where he was responsible for projects before moving on to head the departments in charge of IT studies. In 2006 he joined Covéa as MMA’s Head of IT Studies. In 2011, he was appointed Head of Information Systems at Malakoff Médéric. In 2013, he moved to AXA Emerging Markets EMEA-LATAM in Spain as Head of Transformation.

Eric Féron, 49, has a post-graduate degree in management information systems and decision science from Paris-Dauphine university.
