Our SER programme
The Crédit Agricole Assurances group is committed to Social and Environmental Responsibility (SER). In line with the Crédit Agricole approach and the French Insurance Association’s charter, the Crédit Agricole Assurances group’s strategy is based on four key issues common to the different entities (Predica, Pacifica, Caci and the international subsidiaries) and 13 indicators.
OUR COMMITMENTS
- The environment: limit our direct and indirect impact on the environment
- Human resources: promote diversity as a signatory to the Diversity Charter
- Products and services: influence our customers’ behaviour in terms of investment choices and lifestyles
- Solidarity: develop the company’s and its employees’ actions within the community
Structuring the SER programme
The Crédit Agricole Assurances group’s SER programme is structured with ad hoc governance:
- A full-time manager responsible for coordinating and organising the SER programme, reporting to the head of communications and SER.
- An SER committee, chaired by the CEO of the Crédit Agricole Assurances group, Jérôme Grivet, and comprising SER officers from each of its subsidiaries, which validates the broad SER guidelines.
- A network of 30 SER correspondents, each representing the main business lines of the Crédit Agricole Assurances group’s subsidiaries.
Raising staff awareness internally
Raising staff awareness is the cornerstone of the SER commitment. Other launches included:
- A corporate film, involving approximately 100 employees, intended to launch the SER programme and advertise our commitment by putting across the principal messages of the four key issues. Watch the CAA lip-dub (+)
- An eco-action campaign with reminder stickers put in offices and meeting rooms to raise staff awareness of eco-friendly habits in their daily office lives (cutting out unnecessary printing, lowering thermostats, switching off lights and computers, sorting waste)
- A poster campaign in the various insurance sites in France and abroad showing sustainable development correspondents and employees to demonstrate the Crédit Agricole Assurances group’s commitment to the four key issues.
- Holding quarterly SER seminars: all employees are invited to these seminars, which are run on a voluntary basis. These seminars can be downloaded from the internet, thereby reducing the need to attend.
- SER workshops: SER workshops run by experts are held frequently in order to make the subsidiaries aware of the SER issues that they face, such as the paper workshop for business lines that use paper (marketing and advertising, purchasing, etc.), the SRI workshop for marketing and finance or the climate change workshop for property & casualty actuaries.
