Crédit Agricole Assurances announced today: 1) The completion of the acquisition of 65% of the share capital of Vera Assicurazioni, its subsidiary Vera Protezione and Banco BPM Assicurazioni, from Banco BPM; 2) The launch of a 20-year distribution agreement for non-life, personal protection and creditor insurance products and services in Banco BPM’s network of around 1,500 branches in Italy.

Pacifica, Property and Casualty insurance subsidiary of Crédit Agricole Assurances, successfully places its first Cat Bonds
Pacifica announced the successful placement of €160 million Cat Bond covering French Windstorm and Hail storm on the Insurance-Linked-Securities (ILS) market. The transaction is part of Pacifica’s reinsurance diversification strategy.

Crédit Agricole Assurances is pleased to announce the appointment of Anaïd Chahinian as Chief Executive Officer of Spirica and Chair and Chief Executive Officer of UAF Life Patrimoine with effect from 1 January 2024. She will take over from Daniel Collignon, who will retire at the end of the year after 17 years as Spirica’s Chief Executive Officer and six years at the head of UAF Life Patrimoine.
